public class Minimum
extends TypedAtomicActor

Read at most one token from each input channel and broadcast the one with the least value to the minimumValue output. In addition, broadcast the channel number of the minimum on the channelNumber output port. Either output port may be left unconnected if you do not need its results. This actor works with any scalar token. For ComplexToken, the output is the one with the minimum magnitude. The input port is a multiport.

The input port. This is required to be a scalar type.

minimumValue

The output port for the minimum value. The type of this output is constrained to be at least the type of the input.

channelNumber

public TypedIOPort channelNumber

The output port for the channel number. The type of this output is an integer.

Parameters:

container - The container.

name - The name of this actor.

Throws:

IllegalActionException - If the actor cannot be contained by the proposed container.

NameDuplicationException - If the container already has an actor with this name.

clone

public java.lang.Object clone(Workspace workspace)
                       throws java.lang.CloneNotSupportedException

Clone the actor into the specified workspace. This calls the base class and then sets the type constraints.

Overrides:

clone in class TypedAtomicActor

Parameters:

workspace - The workspace for the new object.

Returns:

A new actor.

Throws:

java.lang.CloneNotSupportedException - If a derived class has an attribute that cannot be cloned.

          throws IllegalActionException

Read at most one token from each input channel and send the one with the least value to the output. If there is no input, then produce no output.
